Where do I find the Files button?
The Files button is on the home screen of your app, in the bottom right corner.
How does it work?
Files are uploaded to the app by the management team at your estate. The Files button shows three categories:
- All Files: Files loaded for every registered user at your estate. Example: rules and conduct.
- My Home: Files loaded for every registered user at your property address. Example: lease agreements.
- Personal: Files loaded only for you. Example: personal documents.
Viewing and downloading files
- Tap the Files button.
- Select the category you want to view.
- Tap the file you want to download.
- You will be asked to confirm with Yes or No to download and open the file.
- Once downloaded, the file will open on your device.
Management at your property are responsible for most of the content you see in-app. If something is missing or you would like a document loaded, reach out to them and they should be able to help.
If the file does not open after downloading, email support@myestatelife.com with the device you are using and the file name.
