Who is sending me these notifications?
My Estate Life is a service offered to your estate. The system is controlled and used by management on-site. Any emails or push messages you receive are sent by management.
How do visitor notifications work?
If a resident generates an access code and the guest arrives using that code, only that resident gets the arrival notification.
If a guest arrives without a code and security checks them into a unit, every user registered to that unit gets the notification.
If your site uses VOIP calling, a guest arrives at the gatehouse and tells the guard which unit they are visiting. The guard calls the unit. If the guest is authorized, they are checked in. In this case, everyone on the unit still receives the notification because the visitor is treated as an unannounced arrival.
If your access rights are set to Guest on the management back end, you will not receive any visitor notifications.
Can I customize the type of notifications I receive?
Per-type notification customization is not currently available in the app. You can opt in or out of all notifications by going into your device settings.
